Where is The Louvre?

You can find the Louvre situated between the Tuileries Gardens and the Seine. Many metros lead to the Louvre but the closest one is Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre (lines 1 and 7) or Louvre-Rivoli (line 1). The main entrance is the glass Pyramid, with an underground entrance via the Carrousel du Louvre shopping mall. It is reccomened to buy tickets in advance to avoid the long lines.
